JACARANDA TREE

The Jacaranda Tree is a breathtaking marvel of nature, captivating all who behold it with its soft, fern-like foliage and dense clusters of enchanting lavender-blue flowers. These trumpet-shaped blossoms, lightly fragrant and utterly mesmerizing, transform any landscape into a vibrant masterpiece from April through August—most spectacularly in May. The anticipation of these blooms is heightened after a winter chill, as they flourish best following nights in the upper 30s and even thrive in poor soil conditions.
Reaching majestic heights of 25 to 40 feet with an equally impressive spread, the Jacaranda’s arching trunks are adorned with light brown bark that adds to its allure. Though patience is required for this beauty to reveal its full glory—grafted cuttings bloom within 5 to 7 years while seed-grown trees take longer—the wait is undeniably worth it.
Once the floral display concludes for the season, the tree graces us with fine foliage that creates a serene dappled shade beneath its canopy. As it matures into a rounded crown at around 20 feet tall, this fast-growing wonder reaches up to 40 feet and thrives best under full or partial sun where it can bask gloriously. The Jacaranda Tree truly embodies nature’s artistry at its finest!
