FAQs

The Tree Planters are here to help.

How do I know if the tree I requested will be what I ordered?

We promise you the tree you bought or you don’t have to accept it. It’s as simple as that.

How do I know the best place for my new tree?

We take care of that for you! We are the premier experts of large tree planting in the state. Underground issues will be determined, tree location will be determined, and care of your landscape will be of the utmost importance to us.

Is there a delivery or planting charge?

Your quote includes delivery and planting. The Tree Planters guarantees the price of your tree. You can contact us today for a free consultation.

Due to market fluctuations, all prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.

What is The Tree Planter’s guarantee?

WARRANTY: All Trees and Palms are guaranteed for a period of ONE YEAR, shrubs and groundcovers for 90 days, and sod 14 days from date of installation. This guarantee does not cover death or damage due to acts of nature such as freeze, storms, wind, flood, or disease.

The owner/client shall provide proper maintenance care of the landscape including and not limited to the plantings, staking, irrigation system, and sod immediately upon substantial completion. LACK OF PROPER MAINTENANCE SHALL VOID WARRANTY.

How long from the time my tree is paid for will it be before my tree is delivered and planted?

Because of our busy schedule, we normally need up to 2 weeks to get your tree installed. We will communicate with you to set up the delivery schedule. We can deliver and install your trees whether you are home or not. We can adjust the schedule to fit yours, if needed.

How do I find out if there are underground utilities where I want my trees?

Every home must be supplied with utilities, such as electric, gas, water, cable, phone, internet, etc. Utilities in many cases are run into the home through overhead lines, but often they are run underground. In many cases, it is necessary to have your underground utilities located so no one cuts your service. We will take care of arranging for someone to come out and locate your utilities.

How should I water my new tree?

All newly planted trees need water. For the first 90 days after installation, we ask you to be extra attentive to the watering needs of your new tree. For all trees with the exception of the Canary Island Date Palm, water daily for the first 30 days, every other day for the next 30 days, and twice weekly for the last 30 days of the initial 90 day watering period. Each tree will have a bowl built around the tree with the leftover dirt form the hole. We leave this dirt specifically to hold water so you will be guided as to the amount of the water needed. If you fill this bowl quickly, that all the water your tree will need for that day.

The Canary Island Date Palm is a desert palm. As such, we have found that these trees are susceptible to over-watering. Water your new Canary daily for the first week, every other day for the next 3 weeks, and twice weekly for the next 60 days.
